FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is your shooting/editing style?
I'd describe it as creative documentary with direction. Maybe a little fine art thrown in there.
I'm totally comfortable posing you the entire time, but directing you into a photo flattering position and prompting an oraganic interaction is more my style.
We're going to get cozy and laugh a lot and try some things that may make you feel a little silly in the moment but I always show you how everything looks as we go and keep you involved and comfortable.
Building a relationship where you can trust me in those unsure moments but also feel able to speak up if it doesn't feel right is extremely important to me.
The best way to describe how I want my photos to look is bright, saturated, romantic and have that Kodak-film pop. Vibrant greens, deep reds and yellows, lots of contrast and really utilizing the light and shadows to recreate the glowy warm feeling we get when we think back on our memories.
Do you take payment plans?
Yes I do! I understand that this is for sure an investment, and not everyone has the means to invest in professional photos all at once.
I offer the option to create a payment plan together where we can get you the photos of your dreams while I'm still able to create a sustainable business. Photos are not released until full payment is complete.
Are you going to photoshop my pictures?
What I do I like to call retouching. I smooth over the extra details the camera picks up in the skin and edit out anything that is temporary. (blemishes, cuts, bruises, big fly-aways, ect.)
Editing teeth back to a base neutral white is necessary with the colour shifting in editing I do. (You don't want pink or green teeth haha)
That does not include automatically photoshopping out stretch marks, cellulite, tan lines, tattoos, birth marks, or scarring.
It also does not include warping your body bigger/smaller or changing your facial features.
If you wish for any of these to be photoshopped we can discuss the work involved and it may have an additional cost due to time involved editing.
In no way am I shaming these things or wanting you to adhere to certain beauty standards. If you don't want any retouching done at all I completely understand and respect any wishes you have with your photos.
Refunds/Deposits
Booking fee requires a 30% deposit in order to reserve my time and your spot.
This holds your place in priority order and locks the price that you booked with if my packages change.
The booking fee is non-refundable.
Refunds are explained in the contract upon booking.
